Depression is more than feeling sad. It can also be extreme tiredness, loss of interest in normal activities, sleeping too much, inability to focus or concentrate, crying, and feeling hopeless. Sometimes, people have thoughts of hurting themselves. It is a medical illness, and it is very treatable. You don’t have to keep feeling so bad. Depression makes you believe you are worthless and that nothing is going to change. Don’t believe it! Depression is a liar! The first step in dealing with depression is to break the silence.
